TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) is a serial interface protocol used by Plug&Play Sensors. A TEDS compliant system instantly detects a Plug&Play Sensor and configures itself based on the information from the sensor.
No need to spend time entering (or mis-entering) sensor data.
