Current Software Version:
8.3.1 released October, 2008.
Spindle Error Analyzer Software Version 8
The Spindle Error Analyzer software collects data from the sensors, calculates error motions, and displays the results in polar and linear plots. Up to four test windows can be viewed simultaneously, or any test window can be viewed full screen. The software includes windows for configuration, photos, setup help, and system diagnostics; a complete on-screen help system is also available.
Real time displays can be run while other quadrants display fully analyzed output charts from the current or previous tests. Tests can be archived for later retrieval for comparison.
Sensors are read through the data acquisition system; the data is analyzed in real time and presented in a selection of plots: cartesian, polar, or 3-D.
The software performs many different tests of error motions in all three axes with up to five channels of displacement measurement and seven channels of temperature measurement.
