Precision Capacitive Sensors and Temperature Sensors

Elite Series capacitive sensors measure motion of master ball targets. The CPL190 and/or CPL290 capacitive sensor drivers have resolutions as high as 0.4 nm providing for measurement of the most precise spindles. They also feature bandwidths of 15 kHz so the sensors work with the highest speed spindles.

The system includes direct connection to National Instruments Data Acquisition Equipment used with the system. Using Elite Series Plug&Play technology, SEA Version 8 reads all calibration information from the system, assuring accurate calibration data and relieving the operator of entering the data.

The Elite Series TMP190 Temperature Sensor Module monitors machine temperature at up to seven points. It is computer controlled by the SEA Software through the DAQ connector on the rear of the enclosure.

USB Data Acquisition interface: No PC Card installation necessary

SEA 8 features the National Instruments High Performance USB-6251 Data Acquisition system eliminating the time-consuming installation of PCMCIA or PCI data acquisition hardware.
