The LRD4100 has very stringent mounting requirements for reliable operation. Please see our TechNote, "LRD4100 Mounting Considerations."
The LRD4100 does not work with labels with any metallic inks or hot-stamps.
For labels with metallic inks or hot stamps use the LRD6110 or LRD8200.
