Capacitive Sensors

Compact Driver Multi-Channel Capacitive Sensor Probes and Ranges

Probe Sensing Area

The sensing area determines the probe's measurement range.

Larger Sensing Area = Larger Range

probe-sensor

Sensing areas are indicated with a letter designation and are combined with the probe body style to form a probe model number such as C23-C (C23 body style and C size sensing area).

Target area diameter must be 130% of the sensing area diameter or custom calibration will be required.

Compact Driver Calibration Types

Two different calibration types are available enabling you to find the optimal pairing of range and resolution.

* Resolution values are RMS. Peak-to-peak values are typically ten times greater than the RMS values.
**10 kHz maximum bandwidth for these sensing areas.
